In this post, I talk about my journey as a father and a writer since beginning this blog. I talk about why it takes so long for me to get pieces out, my worries for the future, as well as my hopes and dreams. I also discuss my wishes to get better at time management and how my main priority will always be my family.

My first short story review is based on H.P. Lovecraft’s Novella, At the Mountains of Madness. It is one of Lovecraft’s most well-known works, and is widely considered one of the best things he’s ever written. I absolutely loved this novella and wouldn’t be surprised if I return to it in later years.

First and foremost, I owe you all an apology. Before now, I had not been sure if I wanted to fully utilize this page. However, I have decided to continue regularly updating my blog. Consider this a new start to Russell’s Rules. This post will primarily be explaining the new changes, why I took some time off, and what the future of Russell’s Rules will look like. As always thank you for your time and I promise not to fall off the face of the earth again!
